![]() I just don't understand why these VST instruments are not showing under the 'MIDI To' dropdown. If this isn't true then that changes things, but the explanation in this video seems to make sense: The main reason I want to avoid having all the instruments on the same track, is because from what I understand, only one CPU core can be used per track - so if I had them all on the same track, they'd all only have access to the power of one CPU core, hence maxing out processing power pretty quickly. Since this can all be on the same track as the note clips you can even use automation in each clip to switch the instruments. ![]() And then you use the Chain Selector to switch which instrument gets to receive the notes? Why not put all these instruments into one Midi rack all of them in different chains.
